Mr. Ryan Cummins grew up in Brenham, Texas. No stranger to livestock shows, he has judged both steer and heifer shows throughout the state of Texas through the Texas Club Calf Association and many state breed association shows. Mr. Cummins attended Clarendon Junior College receiving an Associates Degree in Science and was on the championship livestock judging team and then graduated two years later from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. While at OSU, he was a member of the prestigious and award winning Livestock Judging Team that was extremely competitive during the years of 2002-2003. Ryan also has attended Sam Houston State University where he earned a Masters Degree in Agriculture in the summer of 2008 with a Texas Teaching Certificate in Agricultural Education. Mr. Cummins grew up showing cattle and knows the industry from all aspects. He formerly sold beef semen and cattle breeding supplies for Semex USA in both Texas and Louisiana sales areas. Mr. Cummins currently resides in Katy, Texas where he is a High School Agriculture Science Teacher in downtown Houston, Texas. Ryan currently owns and helps operate and manage Cummins Cattle Company with his father Leon Cummins in Anderson, TX. Mr. Cummins has judged a variety of beef cattle, market sheep and market goat shows in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana and Southern Arkansas.
